We are thankful today to be blogging for 30 Days of Thanksgiving. Kind of like an Advent Calender that keeps reminding you and your kids that Christmas is close, having to write about something you're thankful for reminds you that we have so much to be thankful for.
It's often very easy to go through an entire day without remembering to give thanks for what we have.
Deciding to take 30 days and write about something that you are thankful for every day forces you to think a bit about thankfulness. It's not a bad exercise. Even if you're not gonna blog about it, writing it down or just talking about it at the dinner table is a great idea.
It's always still a tiny thrill whenever one of my kids tells me 'thank you' without being reminded. So today, we want say, "thank you God" for everything he has given us, and we want to enjoy taking a month to set aside some time each day to choose to be thankful.
What are you thankful for today?!? There's gotta be something.
